GOLGI ACCUATOR PLANS TO LEAVE COUNTRY FOR THE US – The Irish Sun
GOLGIA’S LONDON-based Golgi apparatus company is planning to leave the country for the US, its CEO has confirmed.
The announcement came as Mr Dolan made a rare visit to the city where his company is based.
He said the company was looking to expand in the US and Ireland.
“We are looking to bring our product to the US.
There’s no reason why we can’t,” Mr Dolas said.
Mr Dola said the US had become a “super-power” in health care.
He added that he hoped that Golgi would be “the number one place” for a “new paradigm” of medical care in the country.
In June, the Irish government announced plans to phase out the use of all electronic medical records.
The move followed a report from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that found that some states had been using the records for decades.
Mr Obama has ordered an audit of all medical records, including electronic ones.
The President’s health care task force is set to review the matter on Wednesday.
